New Jersey Statutes Appendix - Former Title 3A Administration of Estates Decedents and Others 3A § 12-4

Administrators, of whatever kind or description they may be, shall have actions to demand and recover, in the same manner as executors, the debts due to the decedent, and shall answer to others, to whom the decedent was liable, in the same manner as executors shall answer, and shall be accountable as are executors.
