2. That in all cases where the boundary lines in front of the said counties, in the waters above-mentioned, have been established at any point beyond the boundary of said counties as heretofore existing, or supposed to exist, by the general and indefinite descriptions heretofore made, that the division lines between said counties shall be and the same are hereby declared to be extended at right angles with the boundary line established by said joint board of boundary line commissioners until they severally reach the said boundary line; except that the easterly boundary line of the county of Middlesex in Raritan bay shall be on a line drawn from the lighthouse at Princes bay on Staten island, to the mouth of Matawan creek, and extended from the mouth of said creek to the boundary line in Raritan bay, as located, marked out and agreed upon by the joint boundary line commissioners aforesaid; and, also, that the southerly boundary line of Hudson county in the Kill von Kull and New York bay shall be coincident with the boundary line established by said joint board of boundary line commissioners as aforesaid.
