North Dakota Century Code Title 15.1. Elementary and Secondary Education § 15.1-22-01. Kindergarten--Establishment by board

The board of a school district shall:

1. Provide at least a half-day kindergarten program for any student enrolled in the district; or

2. Pay the tuition required for the student to attend a kindergarten program in another school district or, if requested by a parent or guardian, through the center for distance education.
