The Council may, subject to appropriations or other funds that accrue to it, employ
an executive director to carry out the day-to-day responsibilities and business of
the Council. The executive director shall serve at the pleasure of the Council. The executive director, also subject to appropriations or other funds that accrue
to the Council, may hire additional staff and consultants to assist in the discharge
of the executive director's responsibilities, as determined by the Council.
