A person operating a manufactured dairy products plant in this state shall send to the department once a month, not later than the 10th day of the month, a full report of the amounts of butter, cheese, frozen dessert, ice cream, low-fat ice cream, sherbet, water ices, ice milk, freezer-made milk shakes, or other dairy products handled or manufactured during the preceding month, as requested by the department. Any person failing to render the report required by this section or failing to make the report by the date due is guilty of a misdemeanor and subject to the penalties provided in this chapter.
