Montana Title 31. Credit Transactions and Relationships § 31-2-216. Recording and filing when more than one assignor

If an assignment for the benefit of creditors is executed by more than one assignor, it must be recorded and a copy of the inventory required by 31-2-213 must be filed with the county clerk of the county in which any of the assignors resided at its date or in which any of them not then residing in this state then had a place of business.
