(1) Each state agency is required to develop and maintain an agency information technology plan. The agency information technology plans must reflect the content and format requirements specified in 2-17-524.
(2) An agency information technology plan must be submitted to and approved by the department as described in 2-17-527.
(3) New investments in information technology resources can be included in the governor's budget only if the technology is in the agency information technology plan and is in support of the state information technology strategic plan.
