The commissioners shall make their report, accompanied by a map or plan showing the boundaries of the proposed district, in relation to the property lines intersected or followed by them, also in relation to city or county boundaries, to the court or courts by which they were appointed. Said report and map, if approved by the court or courts, shall then be filed in the office of the recorder of deeds for the county or counties, or city, in which the proposed district is situated, and copies of the map with the mayor of the city and with the county commission of the respective county or counties.
