There is hereby established an interagency advisory committee on energy cost reduction and savings. The committee shall consist of the commissioner of administration, the director of the division of facilities management, design and construction, the director of the department of economic development, the director of the environmental improvement and energy resources authority, the director of the division of energy, the director of the department of transportation, the director of the department of conservation and the commissioner of higher education. The committee shall advise the department on the development of the minimum energy efficiency standard and state building energy efficiency rating system and shall assist the office of administration in implementing sections 8.833 and 8.835. 1
