Subdivision 1. Taxpayer designation. Any individual who files an income tax return may designate on their original return a request that the commissioner provide their return information to the MNsure board for purposes of providing the individual with information about potential eligibility for financial assistance and health insurance enrollment options undersection 62V.13, to the extent necessary to administer the easy enrollment health insurance outreach program.
Subd. 2. Form. The commissioner shall notify filers of their ability to make the designation in subdivision 1 on their income tax return.
