(a) The superintendent of the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension shall maintain a computerized data system relating to petty misdemeanor and misdemeanor offenses that may become eligible for expungement pursuant tosection 609A.015and which do not require fingerprinting pursuant tosection 299C.10and are not linked to an arrest record in the criminal history system.
(b) These data are private data on individuals undersection 13.02, subdivision 12.
