Sec. 26b. (1) From the appropriation in section 11, 1 there is allocated an amount not to exceed $4,645,000.00 for 2020-2021 for payments to districts, intermediate districts, and community college districts for the portion of the payment in lieu of taxes obligation that is attributable to districts, intermediate districts, and community college districts under section 2154 of the natural resources and environmental protection act, 1994 PA 451, MCL 324.2154.
(2) If the amount appropriated under this section is not sufficient to fully pay obligations under this section, payments are prorated on an equal basis among all eligible districts, intermediate districts, and community college districts.
