Sec. 26a. From the state school aid fund money appropriated in section 11, 1 there is allocated an amount not to exceed $14,000,000.00 for 2024-2025 to reimburse districts and intermediate districts under section 12 of the Michigan renaissance zone act, 1996 PA 376, MCL 125.2692, for taxes levied in 2024. The department shall pay the allocations by not later than 60 days after the department of treasury certifies to the department and to the state budget director that the department of treasury has received all necessary information to properly determine the amounts due to each eligible recipient.
