Sec. 11. Compensation payable to guardians shall not exceed 5% of the income of the ward during any year. If such compensation appears inadequate, the court may upon petition and after notice to the veterans administration and hearing thereon, authorize such other or additional compensation payable from the estate of the ward as shall be deemed just and reasonable. Notice of such petition and hearing shall be given the proper office of the veterans administration in the manner provided in section 9 of this act. 1
