Michigan Compiled Laws, Chapter 207. Taxation § 207.513

Sec. 13. This act shall take effect immediately upon the repeal of the tax imposed by and paid to the United States on real estate transfer under the provisions of section 4361 of subchapter C of chapter 34 of the United States internal revenue code of 1954 as amended.  1

1 Former 26 U.S.C.A. § 4361 provided that the tax imposed thereunder should not apply on or after January 1, 1968.
