Sec. 69. If a municipal planning commission has zoning duties pursuant to section 83 1 and the municipality has adopted a zoning ordinance, the county planning commission, if any, may, by first-class mail or personal delivery, request the municipal planning commission to submit to the county planning commission a copy of the zoning ordinance and any amendments. The municipal planning commission shall submit the requested documents to the county planning commission within 63 days after the request is received and shall submit any future amendments to the zoning ordinance within 63 days after the amendments are adopted. The municipal planning commission may submit a zoning ordinance or amendment under this subsection electronically.
