Massachusetts General Laws Part IV. Crimes, Punishments and Proceedings in Criminal Cases (Ch. 263-280) Ch. 269, § 11A

For the purposes of sections 11A to 11C, inclusive, the terms “firearm”, “serial number” and “untraceable firearm” shall have the same definitions as section 121 of chapter 140.
