Neither the provisions of section sixty-six which require licensees maintaining cold storage or refrigerating warehouses to make reports to the department of public health nor the provisions of section seventy or seventy-one shall apply with respect to articles of food received or stored in any locker in any such warehouse. The word “locker”, as used in this section, shall mean any separate and individual compartment in any such warehouse, having a capacity of not more than twenty-five cubic feet, which is provided for use by an individual under lease or otherwise for the sole purpose of storing or freezing articles of food owned by him and intended for use and consumption by him or his family.
