Massachusetts General Laws Part I. Administration of the Government (Ch. 1-182) Ch. 94, § 65U

The department shall adopt regulations establishing standards of identity and labeling requirements for frozen desserts and frozen dessert mixes, and shall adopt regulations for the manufacture and sale of frozen desserts and frozen dessert mixes. The regulations adopted by the department establishing the standards of identity and labeling requirements shall not conflict with definitions and standards established by federal regulations and affecting frozen desserts.
