No conveyance of the land of a church shall be effectual to pass the same, if made by the deacons without the consent of the church or of a committee of the church appointed for that purpose, or if made by the wardens without the consent of the vestry, or if made by the trustees of the United Methodist Church without the consent of the charge conference.
