The commissioner shall make annual reports of the acts of the forester and of the acts of the chief superintendent, which latter report shall include a statement of all sums expended from the funds of the commonwealth for the suppression of pests declared in section eleven to be public nuisances in the several cities and towns. The report relative to the acts of the forester shall include the account of all money invested in each state forest and of the annual income and expense thereof, and the report of the state fire warden required by section twenty-eight of chapter forty-eight.
