Such dean or other officer, if he has been given permission to take the body of a deceased person as provided in section one, shall, before receiving it, give to the authorities surrendering it, a bond conditioned that he will comply with the preceding section and that after the time prescribed therein, if the body has not been buried or delivered in accordance therewith, it shall be used only for the promotion of anatomical science in the commonwealth in such manner as not to outrage public feeling, and that, after having been so used, the remains shall be decently buried or cremated.
