The committee may adopt reasonable rules to carry into effect sections one hundred and forty-nine to one hundred and sixty-two, inclusive, and may amend and revoke such rules at its discretion. The committee shall keep a record of its proceedings under said sections one hundred and forty-nine to one hundred and sixty-two, inclusive, and a register of all persons registered and licensed by it. The register shall contain the name of every living registrant, his last known place of business and last known place of residence, and the date and number of his registration and certificate as a licensed acupuncturist. The committee shall during the month of May in every year in which the renewal of registration is required, compile a list of the name and address of every licensed acupuncturist in the commonwealth.
The committee shall meet not less than four times per calendar year. At the first meeting of each year, the committee shall elect a chairperson, vice-chairperson, and secretary.
Committee members will receive the same compensation as members of the board of registration in medicine as set forth in section ten of chapter thirteen.
All monies received by the committee shall be paid monthly to the General Fund. All expenses and compensation of the committee shall be paid by the commonwealth.
