Louisiana Constitution Ancillaries--Provisions of 1921 Constitution Continued as Statutes 1921 Art. X-A, § 4. Annual payment to Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College

Section 4. Beginning with the fiscal year commencing on July 1, 1973, and in each such fiscal year thereafter, there shall be paid for the endowment and support of Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College, from the general fund of the state the sum of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) which amount shall be in lieu of the same amount prescribed to be paid to it for its endowment and support from the avails of the tax presently being levied on taxable property in the state pursuant to Article XII, Section 17 of this constitution.
