The authority granted to the secretary for aging and disability services under this act is in addition to other statutory authority the secretary for aging and disability services has to require the licensing and operation of adult care homes and is not to be construed to limit any of the powers and duties of the secretary for aging and disability services under article 9 of chapter 39 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated, and amendments thereto.
