This act shall be known and may be cited as the interagency provision of services for children, adolescents and families act. It is the purpose and intention of this act to provide for regional interagency councils which will collaborate in the provision of services for children and adolescents in this state who require multiple levels and kinds of specialized services which are beyond the capability of one agency. Such services shall be provided in accord with the identified needs of each such child or adolescent, and in the least restrictive environment.
