Sec. 5. Not more than thirty (30) days after the date a law enforcement agency begins an investigation regarding a violation of:
(1) section 1 of this chapter;
(2) section 1.1 of this chapter;
(3) section 1.2 of this chapter;
(4) section 1.3 of this chapter; or
(5) section 1.4 of this chapter;
the law enforcement agency shall notify the attorney general of the investigation, so that the attorney general may assist the law enforcement agency pursuant to IC 4-6-2-12.
