§ 15. Units of government eligible for reimbursement; amount of reimbursement. Each emergency response department and the Office of the State Fire Marshal responding to the fire resulting from an offense described in Section 10 shall be eligible for reimbursement. Reimbursement shall be based upon the actual cost to the department of the resources used, including but not limited to personnel and equipment, but shall be deemed to be not less than $1,000 nor more than $10,000 per department. When actual costs cannot be determined, the reimbursement shall be based on personnel and equipment costs as specified in Section 11f of the Fire Protection District Act.
