§ 3-14006. Creation of bureau of administration. The Board of Commissioners of Cook County shall create and maintain a bureau of administration which shall be headed by a chief administrative officer appointed by the president with the approval of the board. The bureau shall consist of the department of budget, the department of personnel, the department of management services, and the department of county planning.
Each department mentioned respectively has and shall exercise the powers, duties, responsibilities, functions and authority provided by law for those purposes or functions.
