§ 2-6005. Oath of commissioners. The said commissioners shall severally, before they enter upon the discharge of their duties, take the oath of office prescribed by the Constitution, and they shall be known as the board of commissioners of Cook County, and as such board shall possess the powers, perform the duties and be subject to the rules, regulations and restrictions hereinafter specified.
