§ 22.40a. Disposal of manufactured gas plant waste in waste disposal sites other than permitted hazardous waste disposal sites prohibited. Notwithstanding any other law or regulation, no person shall dispose, in a waste disposal site other than a permitted hazardous waste disposal site, waste generated from the remediation of a manufactured gas plant site or facility, unless (i) the waste is tested using Method 1311 (Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP)) in “Test Methods for Evaluating Solid Waste, Physical/Chemical Methods,” USEPA Publication Number EPA 530/SW-846, and (ii) that analysis demonstrates that the waste does not exceed the regulatory levels for any contaminant given in the table contained in 40 C.F.R. 261.24(b).
