§ 15. MTBE Prohibitions. Beginning 3 years after the effective date of this Act, no person shall use, sell, offer for sale, distribute, blend, or manufacture MTBE as a fuel additive in Illinois. It is not a violation of this Act for a person to sell, offer for sale, distribute, or blend a motor fuel in Illinois containing a trace amount of MTBE.
