Illinois Statutes Chapter 40. Pensions § 5/6-208. Attorney

§ 6-208. Attorney. The chief legal officer of the city is ex officio, the legal advisor of and attorney for the board. The detailed legal work necessary to the proper administration of the fund shall be performed by a licensed attorney employed and paid by the board. All legal opinions of the attorney so employed shall be submitted to the chief legal officer of the city before action shall be taken thereon by the board.
