§ 6-207. Treasurer of fund. The city treasurer of the city is ex officio, the treasurer and custodian of the fund and shall furnish the board a bond of such amount as it designates, which bond shall indemnify the board against any loss which may result from any action or failure to act on the part of such treasurer and custodian or any of his agents. All fees and charges incidental to the procuring and giving of the bond shall be paid by the board.
