§ 12-4.30. Demonstration programs. Establish demonstration programs, authorized by federal law and pursuant to State regulations. Such demonstration programs may include, but shall not be limited to: cashing out welfare benefits such as, but not limited to, food stamps, energy assistance payments and medical benefits; providing medical benefits through the purchase of health insurance; and capping grant amounts at certain levels regardless of the number of persons in the case. Such demonstration programs may be limited to particular geographic areas.
