Illinois Statutes Chapter 225. Professions,Occupations and Business Operations § 705/7.07. Brake on hoisting engine

§ 7.07. In connection with every hoisting engine used for hoisting or lowering of men there shall be provided a good and sufficient brake on the drum, so adjusted that it may be operated by the engineer without leaving his post at the levers.
