Illinois Statutes Chapter 225. Professions,Occupations and Business Operations § 470/6. Director; state inspectors; technical and clerical personnel

§ 6. The Director shall be, ex officio, the director of weights and measures for the State of Illinois. The Director may designate or appoint qualified persons to represent him in carrying out his responsibilities as set forth in this Act. There shall be State inspectors of weights and measures and necessary technical and clerical personnel, appointed by the Director in compliance with regulations of the Department of Central Management Services to hold office during good behavior, and to constitute the weights and measures staff.
