§ 45-45. Subpoena; administration of oaths.
(a) The Department is empowered to subpoena and bring before it any person in this State and to take testimony, upon payment of the same fees and in the same manner as is prescribed by law for judicial proceedings in civil cases in the courts in this State.
(b) The Secretary and any hearing officer designated by the Secretary are empowered to administer oaths at any proceeding which the Department is authorized to conduct.
