Iowa Code Title XIII. Commerce [Chs. 505-554D] § 524.304. Publication of notice

1. The incorporators or organizers of a state bank shall, within thirty days of the acceptance of the application for processing, publish notice of the proposed incorporation or organization in a newspaper of general circulation published in the municipal corporation which is proposed as the principal place of business of the state bank, or if there is none, a newspaper of general circulation published in the county, or in a county adjoining the county, in which the proposed state bank is to have its principal place of business. 2. Proof of publication of the notice by affidavit of the publisher of the newspaper in which the notice appears shall be filed with the superintendent and is conclusive evidence of the publication.
