Iowa Code Title XII. Business Entities [Chs. 486-504C] § 486A.1214. Service on partnership

1. A partnership's registered agent is the partnership's agent for service of any process, notice, or demand required or permitted by law to be served on the partnership.

If a partnership has no registered agent, or the registered agent cannot with reasonable diligence be served, the partnership may be served by registered or certified mail, return receipt requested, addressed to the partnership at its chief executive office.
