Iowa Code Title VI. Human Services [Chs. 216-255A] § 230.10. Payment of costs

All legal costs and expenses for the taking into custody, care, investigation, and admission or commitment of a person to a state mental health institute under a finding that the person has residency in another county of this state shall be charged against the regional administrator of the person's county of residence.
