A commercial weighing and measuring device found to be inaccurate or incorrect upon inspection by the department shall be rejected or tagged “condemned until repaired” and the inspection sticker shall be removed. If notice is received by the department that the device has been repaired and upon reinspection the device is found to be accurate or correct, a license fee may be charged for the reinspection. However, a second license fee shall be charged if upon reinspection the device is found to be inaccurate. The device shall be tagged “condemned” and removed from service if a third reinspection fails.
