Iowa Code Title IV. Public Health [Chs. 123-158] § 148C.9. Eye examination restricted

A physician assistant engaged in independent practice shall not be permitted to measure the visual power and visual efficiency of the human eye, as distinguished from routine visual screening, except in the personal presence of a supervising physician at the place where such services are rendered.
