Iowa Code Title III. Public Services and Regulation [Chs. 80-122C] § 99G.32. Department legal representation--lottery

The department shall retain the services of legal counsel to advise the department and the board under this chapter and to provide representation in legal proceedings. The department may retain the attorney general or a full-time assistant attorney general in that capacity and provide reimbursement for the cost of advising and representing the board and the department.
