1. Social gambling, registered amusement devices, and amusement concessions not at a permanent location, require payment solely by cash.
2. Except as provided by subsection 1, a participant in an activity authorized by this chapter may make payment by cash, personal check, money order, bank check, cashier's check, electronic check, or debit card. In addition, a participant in an amusement concession as authorized by this chapter at a fair, amusement park, or arcade, may also make payment by credit card.
3. The department shall adopt rules setting minimum standards to ensure compliance with applicable federal law and for the protection of personal information consistent with payment card industry compliance regulations.
