The Agricultural College Fund of the state, constituted by virtue of a grant to the state under an Act of the Congress of the United States, approved July 2, 1862, 1 which grant was accepted upon the terms, conditions and restrictions contained in said Act of Congress, as evidenced by an act of the General Assembly passed at a special session December, 1862, shall remain in the custody of the State Treasurer. Said Treasurer shall pay to The University of Connecticut the net income earned by said fund. Said net income shall be computed by deducting from the gross income of said fund all expenses incurred for the conservation and physical maintenance of the assets held in said fund.
