California Code, Unemployment Insurance Code - UIC § 2707.1

Within two working days after receipt of the notice provided for in Section 2707, or if there has been a termination of the claimant's service within five days after such termination, whichever is the later, the last employer shall notify the department of any information known to him which may bear upon the eligibility of the claimant.
