California Code, Unemployment Insurance Code - UIC § 2052

The director may cooperate with any authority of the United States having powers and duties under the Wagner-Peyser Act,  1 and may do and perform all things necessary to secure to this State the benefits of that act in the promotion and maintenance of a system of public employment offices.
