Every producer who transports any farm product to a market may register himself, his father or mother, and his sons or daughters, and regular full-time employees, with the commissioner. Such registration shall show the name of the producer and the relationship of the registrant to the producer. The commissioner shall supply each such registrant with an appropriate badge, which the registrant shall wear at all times while engaged in unloading any farm product at a market.
This chapter does not prohibit a person from unloading any farm product, and no person is required to employ any other person to unload or assist in unloading such farm product nor to pay for any services which are not requested to be performed.
