California Code, Food and Agricultural Code (Formerly Agricultural Code) - FAC § 53303

“Decorative plants” means indoor plants which are commonly grown and sold in movable containers, and which are not adapted for cultivation out of doors because of climatic conditions and natural peculiarities of habit or growth and because of the purpose of their cultivation.
